Our director and founder is Leticia Soto. She studied the craft of
acting for 3 years after obtaining her BA degree from Fordham in
NYC. She double majored in Drama and Media Studies. The drama
group was something she always dreamed of since the moment she
gave her life to Jesus.
BeAttitudes had its official beginning in February 2004 when they
were asked by the District Youth Leaders of the Spanish Eastern
District of the Assemblies of God to have BeAttitudes present a
short play at their District FIRE Vigil. BeAttitudes has gone through
(and we hope that we will have more) seasons of changes Since
then. :) We have grown spiritually and in number. Praise the Lord
for that!

| We are a Drama Group that MINISTERS. The word ministry is used too loosely these days (so we think). People are calling everything a ministry. And yes we are referred to and called by others a drama ministry. That is OK. However, what we would like to have clear is that we all have a special talent that serves for a special purpose in life. We can be used as an instrument in God's hand to minister (serve) in any which way HE wants. Through the mercy and grace of God we get to minister in various ways - creative or practical ways. As long as our service is done in Spirit and in Truth and for the Honor and Glory to God, then it is all OK. Therefore as a drama group we act and present scenes like any actor would want. Our focus is to tell the story. Our goal is NOT to entertain but to minister. |
